Web3 controlled face-tracking water turret

Goals:

• Win a prize for best use of Aptos

• Create a unique project heavily incorporating custom hardware

• Be memorable and remembered by the judges and other hackers

• Create this project in just 36 hours, following the hackathon rules

My contributions

• Planning and procuring parts pre-hackathon

• Creating the electronics board (output for pump, LED, and servo control)

• Programming the microcontroller (C++) and the computer serial interface for it (Python)

• Writing the Aptos/IPFS integrations for the backend

• Creating the website and user interface

• Full integration of the software

Outcome

• Won Most Creative Hack

• Won 2nd place for Best Use of Aptos

• Known as the project that made a water gun
